The add-on is installed on computers within healthcare facilities and uses standardized protocols (HL7v2, ASTM, DICOM) to exchange data between the CAREOLL Information System and medical devices.
Key functionalities include communication with various laboratory devices for sending work orders related to samples and receiving results.
Communication with ultrasound devices includes sending patient data directly to the device and importing measurement results into the specialist report.
